Pidgin is a chat program which lets you log in simultaneously to multiple accounts over several networks.

About Pidgin

Out-of-the-box, Pidgin is compatible with the following chat networks: AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber/XMPP, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, IRC, Novell GroupWise Messenger, QQ, Lotus Sametime, SILC, SIMPLE, MXit, MySpaceIM and Zephyr. Because it developed its own plugin system, many more networks can be added if you install the additional plugins.
Pidgin supports many features of these chat networks, such as file transfers, away messages, buddy icons, custom smilies and typing notifications. Numerous plugins also extend Pidgin's functionality beyond the standard features.
