MinIO is a High Performance Object Storage released under GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. It is API compatible with the Amazon S3 cloud storage service. It can handle unstructured data such as photos, videos, log files, backups, and container images with a current maximum supported object size of 5TB.
In this article we will show how to restore from Minio a backup created with Backup4all.
How to restore from MinIO
Steps to follow:
- If the backup job does not exist in Backup4all, you must open it from File->Open from.

- Select S3 Compatible, then choose MinIO. Configure the MinIO account.

- After the MinIO account was set, press Show to display the backup jobs in the destination.

- Select the catalog you want to open and press Open. Backup4all will recreate that backup job.

- Press the Restore (F7) button. That will open the Restore Wizard.

- Select the location you want to restore the files to. The original location is selected by default.

- Press Finish to start the restoration process.
