In Backup4all there are multiple type of log files. This article will help you easily find the log files in case you need them.

How to find the backup logs

All the backup log files for Backup4all can be found in the user's AppData folder which is by default: "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\Backup4all 8\Logs\"
If you use the Backup4all settings for all users, the logs will be stored in "C:\ProgramData\Softland\Backup4all 8\Logs\"
To access the last backup log for a job, just right-click the job you want and select Job Logs->Last backup log
To view all backup logs for a specific job, go to History page (from left bottom) and select the job name then press the "Backup" filter to display only the backup logs for that job.
Optionally you can filter the logs by their execution status: success, warning, error.

How to find the restore logs

All the restore log files for Backup4all can be found in the user's AppData folder which is by default: "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\Backup4all 8\Logs\"
If you use the Backup4all settings for all users, the logs will be stored in "C:\ProgramData\Softland\Backup4all 8\Logs\"
To access the last restore log for a job, just right-click the job you want and select Job Logs->Last restore log
To view all restore logs for a specific job, go to History page (from left bottom) and select the job name then press the "Restore" filter to display only the restore logs for that job.
Optionally you can filter the logs by their execution status: success, warning, error.

All the test log files for Backup4all can be found in the user's AppData folder which is by default: "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\Backup4all 8\Logs\"
If you use the Backup4all settings for all users, the logs will be stored in "C:\ProgramData\Softland\Backup4all 8\Logs\"

How to find the Backup4all service logs

All the service log files for Backup4all can be found in "C:\ProgramData\Softland\Backup4all 8\ServiceLogs\"
Their name is Service<executiondateandtime>.log

How to find the Backup4all application logs

All the application log files for Backup4all can be found in the user's AppData folder which is by default: "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\Backup4all 8\Logs\"
If you use the Backup4all settings for all users, the logs will be stored in "C:\ProgramData\Softland\Backup4all 8\Logs\"

How to find the bug reports
