Single or Multiple keys?
When ordering you have the possibility to choose to receive a single key to be used on Multiple Computers (MC) or multiple keys each of them to be used on a Single Computer (SC). The only difference between them is in the number of registration keys received (and the time it takes to receive those). For example, if you decide to purchase 100 licenses and you choose Multiple Computers when ordering, you will pay for 100 licenses but you will receive a single registration key valid for 100 computers. On the other hand, if you choose Single Computer, you will receive 100 distinct registration keys.
On both these licensing options the Backup4all functionality is the same. A single key for Multiple Computers is a method preferred by medium and large organizations where managing hundreds of registration keys is not an option. Multiple keys each for a Single Computer is preferred by home users and small organizations. As a note, when ordering multiple keys each one to be used on a Single Computer, the registration keys are delivered immediately after the payment is processed, while for Multiple Computers, receiving the registration key might take up to two days (they are processed manually).

Backup4all Portable
Backup4all Portable is the only edition of Backup4all that can be installed on a USB flash drive and used only from it. This ensures portability because the USB flash drive can be plugged-in other computers and back them up. A unique features it has over the other editions is Plug'n'Backup, which basically means that whenever you insert the USB stick that has it installed in a computer, it will start backing up what you defined to.
While it has almost all the features of the Professional edition, due to its portability it doesn't support scheduled backups, MSI deployment, command line usage, creating shortcuts for backup job, running backups at shutdown/log-on/log-off and can be installed and used only on removable USB flash drives.
