In Backup4all you can use the default job icon, you can select another icon from our list of icons or you can use your own icons. Here is the backup job default icon when no action is performed for that job .
During the execution of the backup, you will see a Backup image appear in front of the icon chosen for the backup job. If the backup is finished successfully (without errors and warnings) this image will disappear restoring the initial view of the backup jobs' icon.
If one or more files could not be backed up (not enough user rights etc.), then the Warning icon representing the exclamation mark on a yellow triangle will appear in front of the default backup job icon, after the backup finished. Read the log files (from View->Job Logs->Last Backup log) for details about the files that were not backed up. The Warning icon will disappear when the backup is executed again and all files were backed up.
If an error occurred during backup and the backup was aborted, the Error icon representing a red circle with an white X, will appear in front of the backup job. Read the log files (from View->Job Logs->Last Backup log) for details about the errors. The icon will disappear when the backup is executed again and the execution is successful.
You can add scheduled tasks for a backup job if you go to Backup Properties->Scheduler or if you use the global Schedulers page in Backup4all. The scheduled jobs have a clock image shown over the backup job icon. The clock will appear right after you save the scheduled backup job.
