1. What is the Softland affiliate program? This is a partnership between you and us, giving you the right to promote Backup4all in exchange for a commission of the sales generated this way. Information on how to become our affiliate you can find on our site in the Affiliate Program section.
The sales are tracked by the payment processor used (Plimus or ShareIt). When you join the affiliate program you will be allocated a unique URL which contains your affiliate ID. When one of your visitors clicks on that URL, a cookie is placed on their computer which will identify them as your referral. If that person purchases Backup4all, you will be credited with the sale even it the purchase is not done straight away.
3. How much money could I earn with your affiliate program? We offer up to 20% commission (or more), so for each sale of Backup4all referred by you, your account will be credited with the equivalent amount. Your earnings from this program could vary a lot, because there are a lot of factors involved (your website’s popularity, the conversion ratio, etc.).
4. How and when do I get paid? The payment of your commission is handled by the payment processor. After every sale you refer, your account will be credited with the according amount. When you sign-up with the payment processor as our affiliate (registration is completely free) you are able to choose the way you want the payment handled (frequency of payment, method etc.).
You can track your sales by logging into your account and see the online statistics and reporting in real-time. You will also receive email notifications every time you make a sale (depending on your preferences).
6. Can anyone become an affiliate? Anyone can become our affiliate, as long as they don’t perform illegal operations (having warez sites, spamming etc.)
7. How much does it cost to become your affiliate? It doesn’t cost you anything to become our affiliate. To sign up as our affiliate please follow the registration steps provided by the payment processor used.
8. Do I have to reach a certain amount of sales each month to remain your affiliate? No, you can remain our affiliate for as long as you like no matter how many sales you make.
9. How do I promote Backup4all? There are a lot of ways to promote Backup4all and generate sales. First of all you have to remember to use every time the customized links your received when you opened your account with our payment processors. The best way to promote Backup4all is to recommend it to your friends/clients, or if you run a website/newsletter you can recommend it to your visitors/readers. You can write articles about it and distribute those to different web sites, you can promote it through banner advertising or by placing text links in your signature. When you sign up, you will receive tips on how to promote software. To help you promote Backup4all better, we have designed different product related images (banners, box shots, logos, screenshots) available for download on the Promotional Materials page from our website.
10. Can I become your affiliate if I don’t have a website? Yes you can. All you need to have is access to an email address and access to your account at the payment processor. Having your own website would definitely increase your sales potential, but it is not a requirement.
11. Do I have to order Backup4all to become your affiliate? No you don’t have to order Backup4all to become our affiliate. In order to recommend it, you can test Backup4all without buying it, as the evaluation version is valid for 30 days and has all the features of the Professional edition.
12. Do I get a free license of Backup4all if I join your affiliate program? Unfortunately we can’t give you a free license just for joining our affiliate program, because some people will join just to get it for free and then not promote Backup4all. However, if you prove to become a valuable affiliate we will award you with free licenses of Backup4all.
13. Can I join your affiliate program if I’m not from US? Yes, anyone from any country can join our affiliate program, as long as your promotional methods are appropriate (no spamming, no warez websites etc.).
14. Can I send unsolicited email (spam) to promote Backup4all? No, you can’t promote Backup4all by sending unsolicited emails. This is against our Privacy Policy and we strongly advice you not to do so.
15. Do you create custom builds? Yes, depending on the size of your business/website/newsletter we do create custom builds of Backup4all for promotional purposes. To learn more about this please contact us. |
