Backup to DVD and backup to CDBackup to DVD and CD media has become increasingly common due to mature technology and cheap CD/DVD burners, this is why the backup to DVD or CD methods are so popular. If you plan to do a backup to DVD or a backup to CD, please consider our recommendations:
If you prefer packet writing (using the UDF file system) you can select it in the "Advanced CD/DVD Settings" dialog. If the backup does not fit onto one CD or DVD, this DVD backup software will automatically span the backup over multiple media. Each disc is assigned a different label for future identification. We recommend marking the CD or DVD with this label. Use built in burnerBackup4all does not need third party drivers or other burning software installed (like ActiveX, ASPI, etc) to be able to burn a CD or a DVD. The application has two built in CD and DVD burners to backup directly to CD and DVD.Read the Use built in burner page for more details on using this burning method. Use packet writingIf you do not wish to use one of the built-in burners of Backup4all to make a backup to DVD or a backup to CD, or if your CD / DVD device is not compatible with this DVD backup software, then you can use a third party packet writing software (InCD or DirectCD).Read the Use packet writing page for more details on using this burning method. |
