Version 4 is a major release thus upgrading from previous versions is not free. However, you are entitled to use your registered version indefinitely, so here is where you can find the installation and help files for older versions of Backup4all.

If you want to upgrade to version 4 of Backup4all visit the Upgrade section for more information.


Use the combo box above to select your edition. To see what version and edition you have installed, open Backup4all and go to Help->About Backup4all.

You should see there Backup4all [edition], Version [ver no] build [build no].

For example:
Backup4all Professional Edition
Version 3.11 build 300
In this case, you will select Backup4all Professional Edition version 3.x

As a registered user of Backup4all Professional Edition version 3 you can download and install for free version 3.11 build 309.
If you are using a previous version (2.x, 1.x), Backup4all 3.x will be installed separately without interfering with the existing older versions.
If you are using version 3.x, you can download and install over the existing installation (no need to uninstall) and your registration information will be preserved.

The latest version of Backup4all is version 4.0 build 126. This is a major version release thus the upgrade is not free. However you can download and install version 3 as a trial. This way you can test it for 30 days before deciding to upgrade or not. Backup4all 4 will allow you to import backup jobs and will run without interfering with the other installation of Backup4all.
